All new kitchen with granite counters, stainless appliances, all-wood cabinets, ceramic tile floor, and travertine backsplash
The old shed needs some TLC
We are bringing new life back to the shed. Prior owners had a sign in there - "Boom Boom Room!" Not sure I know what that means...
There were multiple flat roofs tied together leaving a very dark and dangerous back porch area. All of this was removed and new roof system installed.
Removed the old set of roofs, and tied into the rest of the house beautifully
Here is the latest view of the front of the home in late December.

Added a porch roof and moved the the front door. Now there is a beautiful place to sit and greet guests and the roof keeps guests dry when entering the home.
Front door was located in a very awkward place, and it was hard to find the door from the street.
This garage was not very functional. Shelves and clutter everywhere.
This is the open kitchen floor plan from a similar vantage point. Both kitchen walls were removed, counter top bar installed, and new hallway to second master suite in the back.
Front door was opening into the home in a very awkward corner and the door opened backwards! The front door had to be moved.
Completely new full bathroom with a much better use of space, and a corner shower (not shown here).
We took this entire space down to stud walls. Rebuilt the roof, vaulted the ceiling, brought the framing up to code, and insulated the exterior walls. This home now has TWO master suites!
Here is a view into the kitchen (small opening on the left of the picture) and back yard. This will be updated to become more modern and open.
This is the old living space. No opening to the backyard and double sliding closet doors in the living room! Just behind these doors were the noisy furnace and AC unit!
Opened up the floor plan with an integrated kitchen and great-room. Added double doors to the new back yard.
That small room on the back of the house will hold the utilities for the home. Here is another view of the rehabilitated shed.
Utilities will be relocated to a utility room on the back of the home, leaving this space open for a new master suite
Behind the new garage door and opener is a beautiful, clean, and very functional combination garage / laundry area with completely new utility hookups.
This is the bathroom in the back apartment. This will be completely remodeled
This was a non-permitted apartment off the back of the house. Nothing about this space met the current building code. All new construction will be in compliance with the building code.

Here is the only before picture we have of what will become the new master bathroom. It will take over the old entryway, utility room, and hallway 1/2 bath.
All-New Master suite with very spacious master bath featuring tiled shower, dual vanities, and walk in closet (Shower door and mirror not yet installed in this picture)
This cramped kitchen could use some updating
